Toga awnings provide maximum protection for the fabric of your retractable awning.  When fully retracted, the fabric is completely surrounded in a clam shell of powder coated aluminum.  Here is what it looks like in this state:    

Only the valence is exposed - when the awning season is over, the valence can easily be removed and stored to prolong fabric life.  Here are some additional notes about the Toga product:

	The toga costs between 15% and 20% more than your typical retractable awning
	We now offer manual override SOMFY® motors for this product!

Typically those homes that are exposed to severe weather conditions year round should consider the toga option.  This is a popular item for many beach-front properties and roof-mounted awnings, such as the one above.
